Hi! I’m Beth Bates, and I’m glad you’re here in pursuit of self-care. I consider it a sacred privilege to walk alongside my clients through different seasons and challenges in life. Licensed in the state of Colorado, I work with women and girls, ages fourteen and up. I offer an affirming, integrative approach based on scientifically proven theory and methodologies, e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I am a Christian, licensed clinician and respect a client's preference whether to incorporate faith into therapy.

I’m a counselor to fulfill a lifelong sense of compassion for others who are hurting. I’m grateful for years of varied counseling experience and for a surprise career detour as a wordsmith.

I thank God for persistent waves grace carrying me through pain and joy, missteps and smart choices, grief and healing, deconstruction and reconstruction—all of which shape and fuel me as a counselor.

I partner with clients to address depression, self-worth, identity and meaning, trauma, grief, ambiguous loss, relationship issues, and life transitions. I do not offer services related to custody cases.
